Camp Jersey Sizes

Posted by Golden Minor Hockey Association at Feb 26, 2019 6:35PM PST ( 0 Comments )

The sizing chart in cm for practice jerseys and the game cuts you received information regarding is attached. Please note sizes lower than 90 can only be made with a V-Neck while Goalie cuts are available from size 110 and up. The best way to size jerseys from the chart is to measure the width and length of a jersey that fits the player or team, while laying down flat and where the lines are on the chart, and compare the measurements to the A and B dimensions on the chart. Please note the chart is in cm, 2.5cm is added to North American sleeve lengths and there is a 2cm tolerance on all dimensions after stitching. The dimensions listed on the chart are for player cuts whereas the extra size of the goalie panels added to each size are the yellow inserts down the sides of the body. The average sizing of our jerseys for the age groups are noted below for your reference.

Jerseys: 110, 120, 130

Jerseys: 130, 140

Jerseys: 140, Small

Jerseys: Small, Medium

Jerseys: Medium, Large

Jerseys: Large, XL

Spring Hockey 2019

As players are moving up the divisions some of you might want to become involved in Spring Hockey programs. Several players over the years have participated in the Spring programs that are run out of the Kelowna area. In the past Matt Cable, Nick Bolin and Isabella Palumbo have been members of Kelowna teams. More recently Carter Thorne and Rex Baxendale were selected to join teams. Selection for these programs starts early. Next years programs were announced last week and tryout camps start in Kelowna between Christmas and New Year in Kelowna.

Okanagan Junior Warriors Spring Hockey

Information about the programs, dates, costs and the registration forms are on the Okanagan Junior Warriors website.

Spring sounds a way off but team training camps run during spring break and that will be the next stop once we have turned around the corner from Christmas.
